Respiratory infection resources for 2025/26
Find public health guidance, webinars and other tools to support primary care providers during the fall and winter respiratory illness season. We will be updating guidance and resources as and when they are available for the 2025/26 season.

Toronto Public Health Integrated Respiratory Disease Dashboard
The dashboard presents week-over-week comparisons of key indicators such as cases, outbreaks, and wastewater signals for influenza, COVID-19 and RSV. The dashboard will be updated every Friday afternoon throughout the respiratory virus season.

Homebound vaccination program - updated for 2025/26
Toronto Paramedic Services (TPS) will be providing influenza, COVID-19 and RSV vaccines to homebound patients. *Please note the definition of homebound includes: Those having medical, cognitive or psychosocial needs/conditions that inhibit them from visiting a pharmacy or their primary care provider to receive their influenza vaccination.
There are 4 options for referral processes:
All referrals can be emailed to: homevaccination@toronto.ca or secured fax: 416-696-3500
1. Excel sheet vaccination request form

2. TPS referral form (BEST OPTION)

If patient is currently active and receiving services from OHaH, you can let their care coordinator know, send a referral to OHaH request for TPS home vaccination program, indicating vaccines you would like for patients.

Patients can make a self-referral by calling: 416-217-2077

Public health guidance
NACI makes the following recommendations for public health decisions:

NACI recommends RSV immunization programs for adults 75 years of age and older, particularly for those who are at increased risk of severe RSV disease. (Strong recommendation)

NACI recommends RSV immunization programs for adults 60 years of age and older who are residents of nursing homes and other chronic care facilities. (Strong recommendation)

For health care providers advising individual clients: NACI recommends that an RSV vaccine may be considered as an individual decision by adults 60 to 74 years of age in consultation with their health care provider. (Discretionary recommendation)

Vaccination - Seniors
Arexvy is publicly funded in Ontario for those 60 years and older living in long-term care homes, Elder Care Lodges, and for some retirement home residents. It is available to purchase from community pharmacies with a doctor’s prescription.
